Setbacks suck. Especially when you give everything you have and you’re not progressing like you want. In times like that it’s important to remember that while you may not see progress- the act of adjusting to new routines, new habits, new workouts, exercises, mileages, or food.. that the fact that you are even doing those things IS progress. Don’t let a setback or a plateau prevent you from visualizing your goal. Yes, you didn’t accomplish as much as you hoped.. that doesn’t mean you throw in the towel. It means you keep going, stay focused and keep working hard. Setback is not failure.. it’s a pause, a learning experience as you adjust to new ways of thinking, new movements, new foods, a new you. Keep going.. or months from now you’ll be wishing you had!
